Tuscaloosa Party Bus - Some info and places to visit!

Tuscaloosa is a city steeped in history, and runs a fine balance between historic and cosmopolitan. The name Tuscaloosa originates from Tuskaloosa, the chieftain of a Native American tribe which was defeated back in 1540. Founded in 1819, the city served as the capital for 20 years ending in 1846. Often, the city is ranked as one of the country's most livable cities and is home to several higher education colleges and universities, most notably the University of Alabama. When you're touring the city in your party bus, be sure to check out some of our favorite haunts, as we've got them listed below!

Here's our favorite spots!

The Avenue Pub

405 23rd Ave
Tuscaloosa, AL 35401

This is one of those places, where you can simply return to over and over again. In our many visits to the avenue pub, we've never managed to have even a remotely bad experience! The food here is simply to die for, and the drinks are never watered down while coming at the right price. If it's your first time visiting the Avenue Pub, burger fans simply must check out the bacon burger! Served on a fresh (not packaged) bun, and with thick strips of bacon on top of a hearty and juicy slab of burger. In fact, we've yet to find a bacon burger to compare!

From farm to fork is their motto, and boy is it ever spot on! The Epiphany Cafe features only locally raised meats and produce, and the freshness really comes through when you first sink your teeth into each and every succulent dish here. Our personal favorite is the slow roasted lam filet, however, you really can't make a bad choice here depending upon your personal preferences. Not only is the food fantastic, the services is impeccable as well. For fine dining, this place is a beacon of hope for anyone looking for a fresh and unique experience!

Depalma's Italian Cafe

2300 University Blvd
Tuscaloosa, AL 35401

Depalma's is one of those places that is so good and popular, that you have to show up well before the dinner rush, or you'll risk waiting for a good spell before being seated. However, let us tell you that the wait is worth it! Depalma's features a wide variety of both continental and coastal Italian cuisine, and really, you simply can't go wrong with whatever you might order. For first timers, you may want to find out what the Lasagna of the day is before perusing the menu, as they often have very unique to America varieties of this favorite dish for you to try.
